Youth Sailors Learn Crucial Ocean Sailing Skills at Miami Training Camp     

More than 50 youth sailors, including members of the US Sailing Development Team (USSDT) and the 2010 Youth World Team, developing their skills at a US SAILING-run training camp on the Atlantic Ocean, off the shores of the Miami Yacht Club. Sailors benefited from drills and racing led by experienced coaches and Olympic sailors.

US SAILING named the members of the new 2010 US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics (USSTAG), the national sailing team comprised of Olympic and Paralympic hopefuls. The 2010 USSTAG is filled with veteran sailing stars including nine Olympians, two Olympic medalists, two Paralympic medalists, five World Champions and three ISAF Sailing World Cup champions as well as rising talents. Find out who made the team.

US SAILING's Rolex Miami OCR
USA Tops Medal Count at 2010 Rolex Miami OCR     
USA won 10 medals -- four gold, two silver and four bronze in eight classes -- at US SAILING's 2010 Rolex Miami OCR, the biggest Olympic and Paralympic class regatta in North America and one of seven ISAF Sailing World Cup events. USA racked up the most medals of any country, followed by Great Britain with six, France with five and Spain with four. Find out who finished on the podium.

Anna Tunnicliffe Named US SAILING's 2009 Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year     
Since winning the Olympic Gold Medal in the Laser Radial at the 2008 Games, Tunnicliffe has proven her talent and versatility by excelling not only in the singlehanded dinghy but also in skippering several different one-design boats in both fleet and match racing. Tunnicliffe becomes the first woman in 27 years to win the award in back-to-back years.

Paige Railey Juggles Sailing and Studying     
Paige Railey has kicked off 2010 with a bang: She won gold medals at US SAILING's 2010 Rolex Miami OCR and Laser Radial Midwinters East - all while finishing her senior year in college. The Laser Radial star has a full plate between competing and studying, but she's finding the perfect balance with a positive outlook.

Kyle Rogachenko: Break-Out Performance     
One of the many American standouts from last month’s Rolex Miami OCR was up-and-comer Kyle Rogachenko, 21, a new member of the 2010 USSTAG. Rogachenko had the break-out performance of the regatta by winning a bronze medal in the deep and talented, 104-boat Laser fleet, which earned him a spot on the 2010 USSTAG.
